Connect a Meta business page so Facebook Messenger and its linked Instagram professional account can use the selected Jaaxis agent.

Prerequisites

  • A Facebook account with sufficient access to the business Page.
  • An Instagram professional account linked to that Page if you want Instagram messaging.
  • Permission to approve the access requested during Meta authorization.

Open the Meta connection

From Agents, open the agent, select Connect, and choose Meta Platforms → Connect.

Authorize the Meta account

If the intended Page is not listed, select Add more pages, sign in to the Facebook account that manages it, approve the requested access, and return to Jaaxis.

Select the business Page

Choose the Facebook Page card you want this agent to use. If Instagram is linked correctly in Meta, its professional-account username appears beneath the Page.

Complete the connection

Select Connect. The chosen Page displays Connected in Jaaxis; a Page marked In Use must first be disconnected from its current Jaaxis agent.

Verify both channels

Send a test message to the Facebook Page and, when connected, its Instagram professional account. Confirm each message creates or updates the expected conversation in the Jaaxis inbox.
A page already connected to another Jaaxis agent is unavailable until it is disconnected there.

If a Page is missing

Use Add more pages and repeat Meta authorization. Confirm the signed-in Meta user manages the Page and that Instagram is linked to the Page in Meta before reconnecting.
